We are proud to announce that 2015's Best American Short Stories and Best American Essays have recognized work by MR contributors.

The following works were named "Notable Essays of Literary Nonfiction":

Martin's story and Whynott’s essay originally appeared in our special issue Celebrating 50 Years of The Master of Fine Arts for Poets and Writers, which was named a "Notable Special Issue" by Best American Essays.
