Natasha Trethewey is named U.S. Poet Laureate

For her appointment to the post of United States Poet Laureate, our heartfelt congratulations to Natasha Trethewey. Trethewey earned her M.F.A. degree at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where she studied with, among others, James Tate and Dara Wier.
