Join MR with a gift on #GivingTuesday!

Tuesday, November 27, is #GivingTuesday, a global day of philanthropy to support national and local nonprofits. We hope you'll give to the Massachusetts Review so we can continue to publish important voices from around the world.

Your support has made so much possible this year. You enable us to push boundaries, confront apathy, and promote diverse voices. This year, we were able to double our author and artist honoraria, and provide our summer interns with a living wage. And you've helped us create our forthcoming Winter issue, a celebration of Asian American writers and artists. With guest editors Cathy Schlund-Vials, president of the national Association for Asian American Studies, and Lawrence-Minh Bui Davis, director of the Smithsonian Institute's Asian Pacific American Center, this special issue features new graphic work from Javanica Dai and Matt Huynh; previously unpublished work from John Okada; new poetry from Ruth Ozeki, Shelley Wong, and Marilyn Chin; and prose from Kazim Ali, Harry Harootunian, Geetha Kothari, and many more.

But we can't do this without you.

2019 will be our 60th year in print. We've made it this far with the support of readers, contributors, and donors like you. You helped us make 2018 an extraordinary year, and we are excited to see what 2019 brings. Thank you for your support!
