We are so excited to once again offer our curated gifts for serious writers. For the next week, the Massachusetts Review’s annual online auction is live, with opportunities to work with our editors one-on-one; a chance to attend an online writing workshop from Provincetown’s Fine Arts Work Center; and a spectacular five-day poetry writing retreat at Mass MoCA in North Adams, MA.
Work with an MR Editor
Three of our editors are offering one-on-one Zoom manuscript consultations: Poetry editor Nathan McClain (up to 15 pages of poetry, for 3 hours total); Public Affairs editor Shailja Patel (nonfiction up to 7,000 words, for 3 hours total); and Fiction editor Jemimah Wei (fiction up to 30 pages). As one writer said of Shailja’s guidance, “Your brilliant, thoughtful, and caring work gave me the advice and confidence to move forward, not just in this manuscript, but towards other projects!”
