Marissa Davis‘ poetry collection End of Empire arrived back in July 2025 from Penguin. Both her translation work and her own poetry have appeared in MR‘s pages, in MR 62.2 and 65.3, respectively.

Cynthia White‘s collection, Glossogenesis, is out from Sundress Publications and their e-chap series. White’s poem “Footpad” came out in MR 61.1

Deep Vellum launched The Book of Homes last month, the latest from Andrea Bajani, translated by Elizabeth Harris, whose translation of Bajani’s novel excerpt appeared in MR 62.1

Austyn WohlersHothouse Boom just came out from Hub City Press. Wohler’s story “Loveless” was in MR‘s issue on Climate back in 2021.

Brooke Sahni‘s In This Distance is out with Texas A&M Press. Sahni’s poem “G-d, a Portrait” was featured in MR 61.3

Arno Bohlmeijer’s novel Narrowly is appearing late September 2025, coinciding with his new translated poems in MR 66.3 (Fall 2025).

Naira Kuzmich’s posthumous debut novel, Fearcatcher, is to be published by University of New Orleans Press in October 2025. Kuzmich was featured in MR 57.2 (Summer 2016).  

Patrick Thomas Henry’s “We Have Always Been the Salamanders” was published in Denver Quarterly’s latest issue. His debut short story collection Practice for Becoming a Ghost came out with Susquehanna University Press in late 2024, and is currently a finalist for the High Plains Book Award. Henry’s work has been published in MR 58.4 (Winter 2017) and 59.1 (Spring 2018).

Samina Najmi‘s debut essay collection Sing Me a Circle is being published by Trio House Press October 1. An essay of Najmi’s appeared in MR 59.4 (Winter 2018)
